“表層海洋-低層大氣研究”計(jì)劃（surface ocean - lower atmosphere study, solas）于2004年正式啟動(dòng)，solas研究海洋與大氣間的生物地球化學(xué)與物理過(guò)程和機(jī)理，揭示海洋-大氣圈層相互作用對(duì)氣候和環(huán)境變化的影響和反饋。

solas國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）于2021年1月正式落戶廈門大學(xué)近海海洋環(huán)境科學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室，與國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（愛(ài)爾蘭）形成雙辦公室模式。戴民漢院士為solas計(jì)劃國(guó)際科學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)共同主席（2021-2023），李黎博士為solas計(jì)劃執(zhí)行主任。

中國(guó)和愛(ài)爾蘭辦公室緊密協(xié)作，共同協(xié)助solas國(guó)際科學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)推進(jìn)執(zhí)行《solas科學(xué)計(jì)劃與組織2015-2025》；在全球范圍內(nèi)協(xié)調(diào)組織海-氣耦合研究領(lǐng)域的科研活動(dòng)及推進(jìn)相關(guān)研究進(jìn)展的傳播；加強(qiáng)solas與其主管機(jī)構(gòu)（國(guó)際海洋研究委員會(huì)、未來(lái)地球計(jì)劃、世界氣候研究計(jì)劃和國(guó)際大氣化學(xué)與全球污染委員會(huì)）及伙伴組織、國(guó)際計(jì)劃間的聯(lián)系與合作；為solas研究領(lǐng)域內(nèi)青年科學(xué)家提供專業(yè)培訓(xùn)和職業(yè)發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì)。

根據(jù)工作需要，solas國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室（中國(guó)）現(xiàn)面向全球招聘1名項(xiàng)目專員，具體說(shuō)明如下：

一、崗位職責(zé)

協(xié)助solas國(guó)際項(xiàng)目辦公室的各項(xiàng)工作，包括但不限于以下內(nèi)容：

1.會(huì)議和活動(dòng)的組織（如研討會(huì)、暑期學(xué)校和開(kāi)放科學(xué)大會(huì)等）；

2.整理、編輯和發(fā)布solas通告、每月通訊和活動(dòng)報(bào)告；

3.更新維護(hù)solas官方網(wǎng)站，社交媒體賬號(hào)及文獻(xiàn)列表庫(kù)。

二、崗位要求

1.學(xué)歷：碩士及以上學(xué)歷；

2.專業(yè)：海洋、大氣或相關(guān)專業(yè)；

3.優(yōu)秀的中英文書面寫作及口頭表達(dá)能力；

4.具備以下條件者優(yōu)先考慮：

1)協(xié)調(diào)和組織國(guó)際大型科學(xué)會(huì)議的經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

2)多媒體（mailchimp、公眾號(hào)等）運(yùn)營(yíng)和推廣經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

3)平面設(shè)計(jì)能力和排版經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

4)優(yōu)秀的人際交往能力和表達(dá)能力；

5)接受國(guó)內(nèi)和國(guó)際出差。

三、待遇情況

1.該崗位為非事業(yè)編制，由廈門大學(xué)近海海洋環(huán)境科學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室采用勞務(wù)派遣方式用工。

2.按規(guī)定繳交社保和公積金，工資和福利參照廈門大學(xué)近海海洋環(huán)境科學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室相關(guān)規(guī)定執(zhí)行，并根據(jù)申請(qǐng)人的學(xué)歷和工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)提供有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的薪酬。

3.人事管理和考核依托廈門大學(xué)近海海洋環(huán)境科學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。

the state key laboratory of marine environmental science (mel) at xiamen university is seeking a full-time project officer for the dual international project office (ipo) of the surface ocean - lower atmosphere study (solas). the position is based in xiamen, china.

solas is a global and multidisciplinary research project with the primary objective "to achieve quantitative understanding of the key biogeochemical-physical interactions and feedbacks between the ocean and atmosphere, and of how this coupled system affects and is affected by climate and environmental change".

since september 2017, mel has hosted the solas nodal office, which has been elevated into a full solas ipo (ipo-china) in january 2021. the ipo-china closely collaborates with the solas ipo in ireland to provide mutual support on major solas tasks, including:

?supporting the scientific steering committee (ssc) in implementing the solas 2015-2025 science plan and organisation;

?assisting with worldwide scientific information dissemination;

?communicating and coordinating with the solas sponsors (future earth, icacgp, scor and wcrp), partner organisations and projects, and research teams worldwide;

?facilitating training and career enhancement opportunities for young researchers.

job description

the project officer will be employed as mel staff, under the administration of mel. he/she will assist the executive director of the solas ipo, dr. li li based in xiamen, in cooperation with the solas ipo in ireland to support the solas ssc in implementing the project and facilitating communication and collaboration throughout the solas network.

the project officer will lead or contribute to scientific coordination and communication activities including:

? assisting in organising solas events (i.e. workshops, seminars, summer schools, open science conferences);

? compiling, editing, and distributing content, including monthly newsletters, announcements, and event reports;

? maintaining the solas website, social media accounts, and publication database.

qualifications

the post holder should have at a minimum:

? a master's degree in oceanography, atmospheric science, or a related field;

? excellent written and spoken communication skills in english;

? excellent written and spoken communication skills in chinese.

the following qualifications will be considered advantageous for the post:

? experience in coordination and organisation of international large scientific events;

? writing, communication, and outreach experience with multiple forms of media (mailchimp, wechat, etc);

? excellent graphic design & artistic skills

? good interpersonal and presentation skills;

? willingness to undertake international and national travel.

the ability to work in china is a requirement. this is a soft-money position, which is funded based on a fixed-term contract for36 months (with a 3-month probation period). the position will be offered with full mel staff benefits. the salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
